Fundraising is for charities. But it's also for start-ups and small businesses that can access grants or loans available in the UK and EU. This can range from small grants to large grants (£100 - £2 million). The world of fundraising can be complicated with changing rules and regulations. Fundraising platforms can be expensive and research can take weeks. But once systematically implemented, the investment can be extremely rewarding.

We provide a range of fundraising consultancy services ranging from research and strategy development to implementation:

  • We skim and scan all online resources in association to research with expensive databases to find the funds available
  • We determine the needs of your organisation and help to come up with a strategic plan
  • We design your project for you to tailor them according to funder needs
  • We write funding applications after a close assessment of your organisation to determine vision, mission and objectives
  • We assess already prepared applications to provide critical overview to ensure the application is appropriate for funder

We have experience in working with charities and organisations with projects in both the UK and internationally:

  • Statutory: DFID, Guernsey Overseas Aid Commission,  EU and Arts Council England.
  • Trusts and Foundations: 4000 trusts and foundations in the UK and EU including Big Lottery, Comic Relief and large family foundations.
  • Corporate: Small and large corporate bodies giving to charity and social enterprises
  • Major donors: Large families, individuals and foundations who have a record of exceptional giving in the UK
  • Disapora giving: Major donors and businesses within Diaspora communities

Blogger's plight

7947949
The photo on the left of a character in his pajamas with a “five-head” looks very much like me while I write this little piece that defines the blogger’s plight.

True. The dilemma is “to post or not to post…that is the question.” Shakespeare must be tossing and turning in his grave to find that all his creative genius has ended up in a blogger’s post who just recently started blogging.

While Shakespeare entertains his agony, I will move forward to talk about the absolutely delight and plight of a blogger.

The beauty of a blog is in the shortness of it. Why do you ask? Because there’s just too much information floating around begging to be read. So, keep it short and perky and above all – simple.

So how effective is a blog for your website and ultimately your organisation?

Apparently alot. But blogging is about marketing. And marketing now equals to social networking. So what is this whole tangle of social marketing about? It’s all about Return on Investment (ROI). Social media marketing like blogging is all about investing more time and energy, if not money, into a product to get the same or larger profits. The more blogs you create, the better chances you’ll pop up on search engines and get more traffic for your website.

So get blogging! To post..

I'm screaming but is anyone hearing me?

The answer to that question is “probably not.”
Sad but true most of us scream necessarily but we might be attracting the wrong attention.
Targeting and reaching out to the right audience remains a constant challenge for businesses who are struggling during a recession to bring in quicker profits at cheaper costs.

Companies are complaining, “you have no idea how bad the market is” but surely there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is surely a way to find a solution, even if it’s quick to still find steady paying clients.
Who is being heard?

The tube conductor in Old Street station during weekdays is heard. When every stranger boards and leaves the train at 5pm, she is there to welcome and bade customers goodbye. TFL should be patting themselves on the back for having staff who let customers go home with a smile on their faces. How is she doing it? Positive attitude isn’t the only factor playing here. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that marketing yourself appropriately might be the only thing that will save you from this ridiculously “longggggggggggg” recession.

So instead of sca-rem them off, it might be a better idea to use those saved pennies which your company put away for a rainy day into marketing your product. This might be the best example of yessing to don’t be “penny wise, pound foolish.” Gosh, where would the world be without cliches?
